multi-lingualism

I recently saw this article on the language skills of our presidents. It's a bit pathetic that only 13 of of our Presidents speak/spoke more than one language. Learning Spanish should be at the top of Obama's 'to do' list. According to wiki, 34 million Americans speak Spanish at home. On top of that, I'm sure speaking a little Arabic couldn't hurt him either (except that the media would pounce on him again for being a muslim...)
